I can’t believe we’re already in the heat of summer! The nights are longer and the days are hotter, which leaves me wanting to wear tons of dresses, shorts, and sandals. I’ve been loving Walmart Fashion for all my summer wardrobe basics so I wanted to share the Walmart fashion finds that have been on heavy rotation in my closet lately. Free Assembly Women’s Long Jean Shorts | $20

A trend I’m excited to wear this summer! Longer shorts have been easier for me to style on a daily basis. Don’t get me wrong, I love my other denim shorts, but I sometimes find myself tugging at them to make sure they’re not too short! And I love the casual style and fit of these. Several reviews recommended ordering up a size, which I agree with because I prefer more of a relaxed fit with these! They come in two other colors; white and dark wash. I don’t know about you, but I live in denim shorts during the summer, so I like to have a few different options to rotate throughout the week like these Retro Boy Shorts and these Time & Tru shorts. I’ve also been loving the longer shorts trend because it gives you a more sophisticated and mature look!

The best way to complete a look is with a handbag and a cute pair of shoes! I have been getting TONS of compliments on this black macrame bag, which I have been pairing with a white tee, denim shorts, and these Sam Edelman Sandals. I have also been loving the wicker handbag trend and this adorable and expensive-looking handbag is less than $50!

Sofia Vergara One Shoulder Bodysuit

One of my summer staples is this Sofia Vergara One Shoulder Bodysuit. It’s the ultimate day-to-night piece and pairs perfectly with denim shorts or wide-leg jeans! I’ve also found myself wearing more flowy tops recently, which help me keep cool in the heat. I love this adorable puff sleeve one and this black tank! Both of these tops will make you look put together whether you’re running errands, grabbing drinks with girlfriends, or going on a date!

It’s not summer without endless trips to the pool and I’ve been loving Walmart Fashion’s swim options because they are timeless and very affordable! I love this simple black one-piece because you can easily throw on a pair of shorts and sandals for an effortless pool day look! And this black and white bikini is so chic for a summer vacation.
