Excited to share my shoe review from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! Yesterday, the sale opened to all card holders and will be available to everyone starting on July 28th. The sale runs till August 8th. I’ll be providing coverage throughout the sale on Instagram, LTK and here on blog!

Next week, I head back to New York City for a few days. I am so excited to see Nordstrom’s Flagship store and browse the selection they have for the Anniversary sale. I’ll be sure to bring you all along. Now, looking online, it looks like they have a lot of available items. Most stores (at least of this post) only have about 60% of the items due to shipping issues. Before heading into the store, be sure to check the availability online. My store was up-to-date but always good to check to avoid being disappointed upon arrival.

Steve Madden Chelsea Boots

Sale: $79.90 // After sale: $119.95  

These boots are one of my absolute top picks in my Nordstrom picks. The style is trending and also incredibly easy to style. Love the boots with denim and a tee. You can also throw on a plaid shirt or denim jacket. If suede isn’t your style, they’re also available in black faux leather and bone faux leather.  The boots fit true to size, but if you tend to wear thick socks during the colder month, be sure and order a half size up. Order true to size. LOVE THESE!!

Steve Madden Booties

Sale: $89.90 // After sale: $134.95 

Every year, Nordstrom has some type of heeled bootie as part of the sale, last year I waited too long to grab the bootie and they sold out in my size. This year, it was one of my first purchases. Since I’m wearing a lot more casual looks and less workwear pieces, these were perfect for a styled outfit. I love how I can wear these with dresses and denim. They come in three colors, but think you’ll get the most wear out of the tan color. Order true to size.

Chuck Taylor Platform Sneakers

Sale: $49.90 // After Sale: $70.00

Earlier this year, I purchased the high top platform sneakers and fell in love instantly. Couldn’t wait to see the low tops as part of the Nordstrom sale. As much as I love my other Converse, I think I’ll get more wears out of this style. I love the elevated,  clean look and gold hardware. They do run big so order a half size up if possible. I’m typically a size 5 and purchased a size 5.5. Love the look with these Spanx leggings, but also look good with my favorite Agoldie denim. These Chucks are great as we can get three seasons a year out of them.

Adidas Swift Run X Sneaker

Sale: $56.90 // After Sale: $85.00

The Adidas Swift sneakers are a family favorite. I love my all white Swift Run X sneakers! They are a slip on style with tons of room. I’d consider going down a full or half size, depending on the type of sock you’ll be wearing with this sneaker and the width of your foot. Excited to wear with my new Alo Yoga leggings!

Sebastian has also gotten tons of use out of his navy Swift sneakers, which are currently on sale. Matt loves the all black NMDs. So do I!

Steve Madden Chain Mules

Sale: $59.90 // After Sale: $89.95

Last, but not least, are the suede mules. Not only are they comfortable, but extremely functional! Love this style for both work and play. The thick chain is a huge trend you’ll continue to see in fashion. It’s a nice statement piece, which allows for simplicity in your outfit. I would recommend ordering a half size up. Below, I’ve also include a few more of my favorite shoe selects. Several of these styles were not available in my size, or I have something similar in my closet. A great example are the knee high Stuart Weitzman boots. These are an all time favorite in my closet when it comes to black flat boots. If you’re thinking about grabbing a pair of high boots for fall and winter, I’d highly recommend this pair. I’ve had mine for years and still get tons of wears every single season!
