4 Monochromatic Outfit Ideas
I always try to stay on top of the latest fashion trends. Last week, I posted on my Instagram about dressing in monochromatic outfits. Most of you liked my all gray outfit so I wanted to do a post about this summer trend. I am loving monochromatic outfits. I think they are perfect for summer and are a fun way to piece together items that you might not always style together.
Gray Outfit
I love this outfit from Petite Studio. The shirt is so cute and if you throw a blazer over it, it’s perfect outfit for work. I love dressing in monochrome outfits with pieces that have different textures and patterns. I added the pink bag for a pop of color because the outfit was pretty neutral without it.

All Yellow for Summer
I was obsessed with this yellow outfit I wore when shooting a campaign for Mary Kay. The post was about adding color to your makeup routine for work but I think wearing monochrome outfits to work is a great way to adventure with color! Yellow is such a cheery color that is perfect for summer.

Red on Red
Red is such a powerful color. Wearing a red pair of pants with a red blazer and keeping it neutral with the shoes and shirt is so chic. I love this red blazer and red pair of pants from Saks Off Fifth. With the black patent leather kitten heels, it’s a chic outfit for the office!

Matching Green
Okay I know this outfit isn’t perfectly monochrome but this is a great way to try out the trend. I love the way the two greens look layered on top of each other. It is tasteful, not too over the top and still trendy. If you’re nervous about trying out this trend, I highly recommend starting with a simpler route like the way I styled this top and blazer.
