5 Products to Achieve The Perfect Summer Glow

We all know to avoid the sun’s harmful rays during the summer. You can protect your skin and still achieve that perfect sun-kissed summer glow. It’s the quintessential summer look. It comes across as effortless and looks beautiful on anyone. You know what pairs well with this look? Beachy waves. Also, don’t forget to check out this post for more inspiration. There are so many great products out on the market right now but these truly stand out. Here are the five products that I use to achieve the perfect glow.

Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow

The Wonderglow Instant Soft-Focus Beauty Flash by Charlotte Tilbury is a multiuse product. It also contains an anti-aging elixir to help step up your skincare game. Since it can be worn so many different ways, this has become a staple in my summer beauty routine. You can apply it with a makeup brush or with your fingers. This is perfect for when you need to get ready quickly or need to touch up your make up. This product has convinced me to branch out and try other Charlotte Tilbury products.

The Charlotte Tilbury line is new to my collection but I love this primer. What I love most about this primer is how easily it can be mixed with my foundation or I can use it as a base before applying makeup.

Rodin Mermaid Luxury Illuminating Liquid

The Rodin Mermaid line is new and I love the entire collection. This product was designed to be lightweight. You can wear this product by itself. This illuminating liquid can also be mixed with foundation or lotion for a more hydrating option. I’ve also started applying it to my collarbone for an extra glow when wearing off the shoulder tops and sundresses.

Rodin Mermaid Illuminating Powder

This is another favorite from the Rodin Mermaid line. I love this illuminating powder. I’ve been a long time Becca Highlighter gal but this has been great for summer. I typically prefer a gold highlighter but I love the pink and cooler tones in this one. It gives you that glow from within look when applied lightly. It’s buildable too so you can go for maximum glow on this one. I use a small brush and apply it to my brow bone, the inside corner of my eyes, above cupid’s bow on my lips, and along my cheekbones. My only complaint is that the case is really hard to open. It’s not a deal breaker but definitely something to keep in mind.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

Urban Decay has my favorite colored eye pencils. I’ve been using Goldmine. It can be used as an eyeshadow, eyeliner or just as a highlighter in the corner of your eyes. The application is super smooth and will allow you to blend for a short period of time before it dries. This product stays put until you’re ready to take your make up off, which is perfect summer. This pencil also comes in a bunch of other shades too if you’re looking to get a bit more playful with your eye makeup.

Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate

Sometimes a beautiful glow starts with a bit of hydration. Facial oils are number one in my skincare routine. Right now I’m loving Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate. If my face is feeling dry and a far cry from radiant, I put a few drops in the palm of my hands, rub the oil around and gently pat it on my face. My only tip here is to make sure you clean your hands and dry them off completely before applying the oil. This refreshes my skin and gets me well on my way back to a healthy summer glow. This oil is lightweight and will work on just about any skin type.

I highly recommend all of these products to achieve the classic summer glow. It’s perfect for day and night looks and it’s really easy to achieve no matter what your make up style is. You can’t go wrong with any of these products.

What’s your favorite summer make up look? Would you like to see a tutorial of my make up routine?
