My 5 March Beauty Favorites

Today I’m sharing the March beauty products I loved using all month long. This time of year can be tricky. Spring has officially started and meanwhile, New York just got some snow. I found myself using colors with pretty pops of pinks and purples for eyeshadows. Sometimes you just want to force warmer weather with fun colors. I also used products to help keep my skin moisturized and properly taken care of with the varying temperatures. Here are some of my favorites that I found myself reaching for over and over again in March.

March Beauty Pick 1

Shiseido Essential Energy Moisturizing Cream

Shiseido is known for their loyal skincare following and after using this product I understand why. It’s a great addition to my beauty routine. I’m able to properly moisturize my skin before I apply my makeup for the day. It’s not too heavy and goes on smoothly. So a little goes a long way making this a more cost-effective option than a lot of high-end creams on the market. It seems suitable for all skin types. I’m definitely going to be trying more products by Shiseido.

March Beauty Pick 2

L’Occitane Hand Cream

I have the shea butter but the hand cream comes in a variety of scents including almond and lavender. They also come in a mini size which is perfect for traveling. I’m constantly washing my hands or using hand sanitizer around Sebastian and all of the traveling. So between that and all of the temperature changes, my hands need the extra moisture. This gets the job done. Plus it smells amazing!

March Beauty Pick 3

Oribe Serene Scalp Soothing Leave-On Treatment

I’ve talked a lot about taking care of your skin but sometimes we forget about our scalps. This area is often overlooked. I use a lot of heat styling tools and use products to protect my hair. This product helps soothe my scalp. If you have issues with dandruff this is also great to get rid of any flakes that can happen due to dry skin. It’s also great to use right after you color your hair to ease any irritation. For more tips on how I take care of my hair, check out this post.

March Beauty Pick 4

Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact – Rose

I love this color for Spring. It creates the perfect rosy glow. It compliments your blush to give it a little something extra. This is a more subtle option for a lot of the highlighters on the market right now. So it’s way less intimidating and more natural. It’s great for daytime especially for those of you in office settings.

March Beauty Pick 5

Urban Decay Backtalk Eye & Face Palette

Urban Decay has become synonymous with palettes. I love the colors. It screams warm weather. I also like that it includes both eyeshadows and blushes making it convenient and travel-friendly. I don’t like to carry a ton of products with me so the fewer items I have to grab the better. The shadows have a good mix of shimmer and matte shades to create a number of looks.

These products definitely helped me get through this transition from Winter to Spring. What products have you been obsessing over recently? I can’t wait to test out your recommendations. For more of my makeup favorites be sure to check out this post.
