Summer vacations are a chance to get away from it all. Some of us explore new places and others return to the locations we love. It’s always exciting preparing for your trip. While you’re packing all of those great bathing suits and coverups don’t forget about your hair! Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt

The sun and elements can be harsh on your hair and scalp. Combine that with the use of products and styling and sometimes you just need something to help you hit the reset button. Now when you first use this product it feels strange due to the grainy texture it initially has. Don’t let that fool you. It lathers up quite nicely. It leaves you feeling refreshed and clean. It’s very soothing too even for those with sensitive scalps. I didn’t fully realize how well it worked until I used my regular conditioner and saw what a difference there was in the application. I can’t recommend this product enough. This should be a staple in anyone’s summer hair care routine. I knew it had to be in my kit.

OUAI Wave Spray

Beachy waves are a classic summer hairstyle like I did here with my campaign for Space NK. One of the fastest ways to effortless beachy waves is this spray by OUAI created by celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin. It’s versatile in that you can use it on damp or dry hair. You can spray it on your roots for a bit of volume or throughout your hair for that stepped off the beach look. It doesn’t take a lot of effort, which is perfect for being on vacation. It also smells amazing with subtle hints of coconut, jasmine, hibiscus, and ginger. Elizabeth Siegel, Deputy Beauty Director at Allure Magazine loves it. The wave spray also won a Best of Beauty Award from Allure in 2017.

Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray

Last but certainly not least to the summer hair trifecta is this texturizing spray by Oribe. First off, all of the Oribe products smell amazing including this one. This texturizing spray goes above and beyond the call of duty. It gives your hair just the pick me up it needs while absorbing oil at the roots. It lifts and provides volume without leaving any white powdery residue that’s so common with dry shampoo. This can especially be an issue if you have darker hair. The spray also provides your hair with UV and color protection which is important with all of that time in the sun you’ll be spending.
