In The Hamptons With Malia Mills x Lillet
When I imagine a perfect summer afternoon I picture myself sipping a refreshing drink while lounging around in a stylish bathing suit as I try to soak up some sun. How perfect does that sound? Two amazing brands have joined forces to make this fantasy more obtainable and to do some good in the world as well. I will be heading to The Hamptons for the launch of the Malia Mills x Lillet Ready-T0-Aperitif Collection. Here is a little background on both brands…
Malia Mills
This inclusive swimwear based line launched in 1993. It’s comprised of bra-sized separates and bottoms to give you a better fit leaving you feeling confident and fierce. Since then, the line has grown to include ready to wear designs and accessories and has been noticed for their philanthropic endeavors.
Lillet
Lillet is an elegant and refreshing French wine-based aperitif. It will be your go to drink all summer with its subtle hints of fruit flavors. One of my favorite cocktails is the Lillet Spritz. You just take one of your favorites, mine is the Rosé, and add club soda with a little bit of ice. It’s summer in a glass. Don’t forget to enjoy Lillet responsibly!
The Collaboration
Lillet has teamed up with Malia Mills in it’s first retail collaboration. These curated styles will be available for purchase nationwide in store. Not only will you look amazing in these styles but your purchase will also support Course of Trade. Course of Trade is a non-profit that provides industrial sewing education to those in need. It was founded by Libby Mattern, Production Director at Malia Mills. The collection also features the Lillet Course of Trade bag in red which showcases a Lillet pin and a Malia Mills “Hell Yes” pin. With two great companies, a great cause, and impeccable design…what more could you ask for in a summer partnership?!
The one I’m wearing here is a personal favorite from the collection. It transitions beautifully from day to night. It’s breathable fabric is perfect for warm summer days. It can easily be dressed up or down and you’ll be ready to aperitif! I love the signature bold red color it comes in as well.
