Spring Update with Sassoon

I’ve been in the process of growing out my hair. I look back on these photos and love the length, fullness and color of my hair. At this point, I’m undecided if I want to put any color in my hair because it caused a lot of damage to my hair and it’s taken over a year to repair. I do know that I want to grow out my hair, so I’ve been working with the Sassoon Salon to strengthen my hair by getting frequent trims and hair treatments.

The first time I went into the New York Sassoon Salon on 18th Street, I met with Michael Forrey and treated my hair with the Instant Fusio Dose Treatment By Kerastase. The treatment only takes a few minutes and you see immediate results. This time I went in for a trim and deep conditioning. Since I’m trying to keep as much length as possible, Michael only took off half an inch. My hair is curly, so we kept the long layers. This cut gives me volume, but not too much fullness in my hair. My hair was blown out and then straighten by the ghd Platinum White Styler. This is the first time I’ve used this straight iron and I’m SOLD! Most straighteners get too hot and damage your hair in the process, this styler add shines and straightens without the harsh heat.
