My 5 May Beauty Favorites

Can you believe today is the first day of June? It feels like we were just in Amsterdam. Even though May flew by, it was filled with lots of great memories and some big moments including the launch of the Space NK campaign. With such a busy month, my 5 beauty favorites really had to work overtime. Here’s what got me through the month of May.

May Beauty Pick 1

Sunday Riley Good Genes

Sometimes it’s all in the name. Good Genes is a lactic acid treatment. It’s evened out my skin tone and given me brighter skin. This is the type of product you start seeing a difference pretty quickly. For those with ultra-sensitive skin, I’d recommend trying it out on a small patch of skin first.

May Beauty Pick 2

Harry Josh Pro Tools Premium Oval Brush

First off, check out the Harry Josh Pro Tools line. All tools come in the same signature color. The oval brush is no different. This brush is great at getting through my thick hair. This is no easy task some days. I put my hair through a lot and this brush feels more like a way to pamper it.

May Beauty Pick 3

R+CO Spiritualized Dry Shampoo Mist

I have a bit of an obsession with dry shampoo. I was intrigued when I first saw this. This one doesn’t leave a powdery residue like most thanks to its micellar formula. Your scalp and hair will thank you. It’s also super travel-friendly. Just throw it in your bag and go.

May Beauty Pick 4

First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy

This has been a lifesaver for those long nights and early mornings. It’s an eye treatment that can be worn with or without makeup. It helps get rid of puffiness, dark circles and smoothes fine lines. It’s basically the eye area trifecta. After this, you just need a little coffee and you’re ready to start your day.

May Beauty Pick 5

Erborian CC Crème

This is an ideal product to achieve the fresh-faced no makeup look. It helps even out your skin and softens your complexion. You can also use it under your foundation to prep your skin. This CC cream contains SPF for added protection, especially with summer around the corner. It’s lightweight and perfect for everyday use.

I know a lot of these products will still be a part of my routine well into June. As the weather starts to change so will some of the products I use regularly. What are some of your favorite beauty items for summer?

xo, Olivia
