If you’re anything like me, you feel inspired to shop elsewhere for workwear pieces. This happens to me during the summer. I’ll jump online and start browsing at new workwear pieces and most things are either out of my budget or not practical for my work. Now insert ModCloth. For years I’ve shopped at ModCloth for vintage style clothing, not ever thinking to purchase workwear pieces, till now. They reached out to me a few weeks ago and after looking through the site, I found so many pieces that I could add to my wardrobe that complimented my work and off duty lifestyle. A few of the pieces I picked up are the white blouse, skirt and watch. The top is work appropriate with the high neckline and lightweight material, making it perfect for summer. Imagine adding your favorite denim jeans and heels? You’re ready for a night out with friends! The skirt is a personal favorite. I love black and white stripes (like I wore here). What else I love about the skirt is the small elastic waistband. Typically these types of skirts come with a white waistband and NO stretch. Since this is something I’ll wear for a few years, my weight and waistline will get bigger or smaller, depending on the season. The skirt gets five starts. The watch was a no-brainer. It’s an accessory I wear daily, rose gold and the label is called Olivia Burton.
