With Memorial Day weekend out of the way, it’s finally time to usher in the summer season. It’s time for trips to the beach, long nights, lots of sunshine, and a change in my makeup routine. Warmer weather combined with humidity, always leads me to go lighter and brighter with my makeup looks. I want the best of both worlds, a hassle-free look that still looks great. Here are my 3 tips for effortless summer makeup.

Protect Your Skin

While sunscreen is important to use year-round, it’s especially important during the summer months. Not only does additional exposure cause damage over time but no one loves a sunburn. The healing process also makes any kind of makeup application difficult. Remember to reapply throughout the day as well.
