6 Easy Outfits to Wear on Thanksgiving

I still can’t believe Thanksgiving is less than a week away. This year we’ll be home together for Thanksgiving and fly to St. Louis to be with Matt’s family to enjoy the next few days. For many, the holidays mean lots of food, family and traveling. With that in mind, a lot of these looks take comfort into account. Being comfortable doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style though. Here are some of my favorite Thanksgiving outfit ideas.

Thanksgiving Looks

Coat with Details

Let me just say I love polka dots. This coat has a lot of great details and adds something a little extra to the outfit. The rest is perfectly casual for your family get-togethers.

Unexpected Color

This look utilizes an unexpected color for Thanksgiving. It’ll definitely stand out in a good way. The denim paired with the lace detailing in the top strikes the perfect balance between casual and dinner appropriate.

Cozy Knit + Skirt

This has probably been one of my favorite fall looks. A cozy knit paired with a plaid skirt. It’s a classic for a reason and will work at most functions.

Edgy Casual

Now, this is a Thanksgiving look with a little bit of an edge. You’ll definitely be ready to go out and play some football with the family in this casual look. It’s also perfect for those long travel days as well.

Dress Alternative

A jumper is a great alternative to a traditional dress. The boots take away from some of the sweetness that can happen with jumpers. The over the knee boots are one of my favorite styles right now too.

Stay Warm

This is a great casual look when you need to bundle up. I tend to avoid flats so the boots are a way to add some height to an otherwise laidback style.

Stay Comfortable

Now, this clearly isn’t an outfit but I highly recommend this bra for any Thanksgiving outfit you wear especially when you want to keep it more conservative. It’s also really comfortable! Also great to wear when putting on your loungewear at your In-Laws!

I love this time of year and I can’t wait to get the extra time with family. I hope everyone is able to take time to enjoy the holiday!
