5 Staples To Add From President's Day Sales

Every time a holiday rolls around, I check out all the latest sales. I typically have a cart full of “cute” pieces from all my favorite stores (J.Crew, Club Monaco, Nordstrom and ASOS). Only to realize a few weeks later that I need some practical pieces for my wardrobe, like denim or new pair of sneakers.

While you’re out shopping today, here are a few things you’ll want to add to your closet during the President’s Day Sales!

1. Denim

Wanting to try out a few new trends, like the raw hem or overalls? Now is the time to add them to your closet!

2. Winter Coat

Has a new coat been on your “to buy” list for months? Here are a few staple pieces on my short list to choose from to add to your closet!

Although we’ve had a few nice days in NYC, winter isn’t over. We still have a few more months of cold winter days. Pick up a few lightweight sweaters to take you into spring.

5. Workout Wear

If your sneakers are looking a little worn out, this might be one of the best times to pick up a new pair to keep you motivated at the gym.
