Starting the week off with a fun trend of the season, polka dots! I know, the pattern is normally associated with vintage-inspired clothes that can feel a little dated, but it doesn’t have to look that way. Just need to choose wisely. Here are five on-trend polka dot pieces to wear to work. What’s even better, they’re all under $50!

1. Tie Blouse

This white polka dot top can be worn with dark denim for a casual Friday look, or you can dress it up with a black skirt for a more corporate look (like I wore here).

The top I’m wearing today is just the right amount excitement to dress up your everyday work style. I love this look with white pants, but can also be worn with black trousers.

A personal favorite, this stretch jersey dress is comfy and can be styled with black pumps for the office. It makes for an easy start to the morning!

Also, when wearing polka dots outside of work, try and keep it current with a fun wrap dress or trendy off-the-shoulder top. Or look for simple shapes like an A-line skirt or well-cut pants to make a basic look feel fresh. You also don’t have to stick to the classic black-and-white combination either — there are plenty of of fun color options out there.
