Summer Workwear: Holiday Edition
Hope you all are enjoying the holiday weekend! One of our favorite places to hang out in the middle of the city is Bryant Park. It’s the perfect little oasis in the middle of the controlled chaos of midtown. The summers are especially fun with the lawn being open, the food stands are up and movie night with the summer film festival. For the holiday weekend, I dressed Sebastian up in red, white and blue. Aren’t his socks adorable!
It’s starting to get super hot humid out so I wanted to share a new look to try out this summer. When it comes to blazers in the summer, I think my favorite color is white. It is perfect for the warm weather and just looks so put together. It’s classical chic and great for the office but you can wear it so many different ways.
With it getting hot, and especially if you are running meeting to meeting in the city, stick with light-weight staple pieces. Easier said than done, but try and find a couple lightweight blazers, a couple thin pair of slacks and a pair of light patterned skirts. You can swap out your favorite shoes and accessories between the different combinations. Also, a couple solid blouses would be great to interchange between the blazers, skirts, and pants. Let me know what you think of the look and what you are wearing this season. I want to know! And also where you are finding the best deals!
Enjoy the 4th and have a great week!

Hi, Olivia. I’m loving to follow you!
Would this black jacket you’re wearing be from Veronica Beard?
I love that you love following along! Which black jacket are you referring to? I do wear Veronica Beard quite a bit. Love the brand!
