After yesterday’s post, today’s post a little shorter! I wanted to share one of my favorite dresses for the summer. It’s by BB Dakota and available at Nordstrom and Shopbop. The dress runs a little big so I opted for a smaller than usual size. For someone with a similar shape (petite and slightly curvy), v-neck top and dresses are flattering to our bodies. The only caution is that sometimes the v-neck can be a little too revealing. As you can see on this dress, the top of the dress is a bit oversized. If I had the time, I would have taken this to a tailor to get the straps pulled up a little, maybe 3/4 inch. Nonetheless, this dress beautiful and flattering to a woman’s body. The fit and flare shape gives your torso length and emphasizes your waist. Although I’m 5’1″, I love wearing tea length dresses. I’ve found the best way to wear these dresses are with nude heels. As you know, nude heels elongate your body and they don’t draw attention to your legs, the eye wants to focus on the floral dress.
