Wearing Leather to Work
Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I’m sharing another look from Worth New York. Here’s a look back, here and here, at two other looks with Worth.
Leather. Is it appropriate to wear to work? I get asked this question a lot. This really depends on your comfort level with wearing it to work and the office dress code. When wearing leather pieces to work, make sure they’re not too tight. If you’re wearing a skirt, be aware of the length of the skirt. If you’re wearing a shirt, make sure the skirt isn’t showing cleavage. I’d recommend saving the leather pants for the weekend. Like this studded leather skirt, there are plenty of work appropriate outfits that can be worn with leather. This particular skirt by Worth New York has an a-line silhouette and it’s navy, both traits making it appropriate for work. The bronze studs gives details and personality to an otherwise plain navy leather skirt. Like most pieces from Worth, it can be worn to work or after hours. I paired it with a structured stripe button down for a more sophisticated look.
