Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms in the world! This year I decided to come home to Kansas City and spend the weekend with my mom. My mother has always been a huge influence in my life and every year that passes, I realize how much she did for both me and my brother as children. As an adult, I can only hope to be as good of mom to my children as she was to us.

Since it’s a little warmer in the midwest, I’m wearing this floral maxi dress, petite heels and a cardigan for afternoon church and brunch. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
