Black in the Spring
Since it’s freezing in New York, I’m still wearing sweaters. I refuse to wear any of my winter sweaters, so I’ve been wearing this ‘spring’ pearl sweater a lot of different ways (as seen on Monday). Last week, I wore this look to the Glam Garden event at Saks Fifth Avenue. You might have caught the photo on my Instagram, they setup a tea party on the sidewalk to kickoff The 2016 Glam Garden.
With all this cold weather we’ve also had a lot of rain and whenever there is any moisture in the air, the hair around my face get really curly and frizzy. To prevent frizz I like to pull the front of my hair into some type of braid, either twisted or a dutch braid. Next Tuesday I’ll be sharing an easy hair tutorial on how to accomplished this halo half-up rope braid. What I love about this braid is that you can wear it to work or with a tee shirt and jeans. It’s minimal effort and makes you look polished, especially when it’s raining outside.
