It’s that time of year….Holiday work parties! This is your time to shine. Some of us will be receiving awards, while others will be recognized for all their hard work in 2014.
Now, what to wear. We want to look professional, yet classy. This cream and black dress by Cynthia Steffe is perfect for the occasion. If you don’t want to wear all black, stripes are a good alternative. The a-line dress looks great with or without a blazer. Although this is a sleeveless dress, it’s appropriate for an office party. If you decide to hit the dance floor and the party warms up, you don’t have to feel subconscious about taking off your blazer. For those women in the colder weather, throw on a pair of sheer black tights to keep you warm. If you really want to add some glam to this outfit, add your favorite statement necklace. Perfect! You’re ready for you party!
A few tips when attending holiday work parties. Follow the rule, “one glass of water for every cocktail”. You don’t want to leave the party early! Next, if you want to move up in the company, this is a great time to find your next position. Introduce yourself to a senior executive and make an impression. Tell that person you’re interested in growing your career. The New Year always brings on new opportunities at work.
