How to Wear Culottes to Work

When I first saw culottes (aka wide leg cropped pants) this season, I have to admit that I was dreading this trend..thinking I’d never be able to pull off these pants. When I looked at the models on the runways, they looked effortless and chic with their long legs and torsos. Last week when I was in H&M, I picked up a pair to try out. So I was really excited when I got home and they actually looked really cute with a work outfit. What I love most about this trend is that they’re different than my typically black trousers I wear to work. I’m wearing it with a black and white sleeveless top, but I think they’d look great with a cropped top or a simple t-shirt. Next time you see culottes in the store, stop by the fitting room and try them on.
