My Top Fall Fashion Picks from Walmart Fashion
As we enter Fall, I’m really excited to be adding new pieces and start layering again. I have loved shopping at Walmart to find great complementary pieces to mix and match with my current wardrobe. Walmart Fashion hosts one of my favorite new brands, Sofia Vergara, and she has a great collection. Her pieces fit me so well and align with my style.
My absolute favorites are her denim and bodysuits and they are under $30! You can style a bodysuit so many different ways and it makes for a perfect staple piece to layer as the weather starts turning. With fall and the holiday season coming quicker than we think, it’s the perfect time to get these pieces to begin putting together outfits and rounding out our closet. Whether you are shopping to dress up or dress down, Walmart Fashion gives you so many options to complete your looks. Here are a few looks I create from the collection.
My top denim
I’m so glad I picked it up when shopping a few weeks ago. You know I love a good statement sleeve! This ivory sweater is even more beautiful in person. It also comes in four colors; black, camel, forest green and ivory and under $30. I’m wearing a size small for a less fitted look. I layered it with a nude bodysuit. The nude undershirt wasn’t necessary, but I wanted to see how it looked underneath another white top. This nude bodysuit will be nice for layering. Most white tops can look a bit sheer, so this will come in handy when I need any coverage.
For fall I like to have a dark pair of denim, so this dark wash denim will work perfectly. The stitching is this beautiful golden color with a little distressed coloring near the pockets. They are a mid-rise skinny ankle denim and fit similar to some of my high-waisted denim. I’m wearing a size 2 in these denim and the inseam is 27.5.
This grey cardigan was a huge hit! I like the asymmetrical look of this cardigan, it’s different than most of my cardigan. I like that I can wrap myself up in the cardigan when I’m feeling cold. The cardigan also comes in black, blush, camel and grey. For sizing, I’m wearing a size XS. It does run a size big. I’d recommend ordering a size down if you like more fitted sleeve. If you want a looser fit on the arms, order true to size.
The bodysuit is similar to the nude bodysuit I wore underneath the sweater above. It’s stretchy. For those breastfeeding, perfect for you and baby. The bodysuit is available in nude, grey, black and white. The denim are the same denim I wore in the above photo. For my height 5’1″, they fit great with heels and flat. That’s my biggest issue with finding denim.
The peplum sweater looks like it’s selling out fast in this color. It does come in four other colors; black, forest green, grey and ivory. Compared to most of my other sweaters, this one is shorter than other chunky knit sweaters. I’m wearing a size small above, but could have gone up another size for a less fitted look.
I obviously loved all the sweaters from my recent purchase, but I was impressed with the denim. Both pairs look like my design denim that cost 10x the price. These skinny ankle denim look great on my shape. When ordering denim, I typically order regular fit, but decided to try out the short fit to style with flats and booties. The raw hem are a clean cut. Not too much frayed denim handing down, which looks nice for this casual style. I’m wearing a size 2S. They’re more snug than the denim I wore above. I fit that when I order “short” denim, they fit a size smaller. Overall assessment on sizing, they run true to size. The denim also come in five different washes and regular, short and long length. Can’t believe how quickly they’re selling out. When I ordered a few weeks ago, everything was fully stocked. I think the secret got out! Very impressed with quality of these $22 denim.
Hope you enjoy the looks I created. I’ve created a highlight tab on Instagram stories to see the outfits and sizing!
