Now that Thanksgiving is over, it is time to start looking ahead to Christmas and the New Year. We have so many exciting things in store from the baby to growing Corporate Catwalk, I am really looking forward to 2020. But first, we have to get through Winter which arguably can be the hardest season to get through. Not only is it dark by 4:30 in New York but it is COLD. One of the hardest parts of going to work in the Winter is making sure you’re warm enough on the commute. Being warm on your commute can be so tricky especially if you’re wearing blazers, button downs, and nice slacks. Sometimes coats just don’t fit over them! Here are some of my favorite work coats to buy this winter that are not only great for work but the weekends as well.

Faux Fur

Faux fur is a staple for Winter. It’s like florals in Spring. These are some of my favorite styles that I found!

Wool

While wool coats are always trending, they seem to be the “it” coat this Winter. They are great because they’re heavy, structured, and go with everything. This is my favorite coat that I’ve found but I linked several work appropriate ones below!

Puffer

Puffers always keep me warm which is essential in NYC, especially because we walk to work. I love the more fitted look but oversized puffers seem to be back for another season!

This is the puffer coat that rocked the internet last year. It’s back and perfect for winter!

Plaid

Plaid, like faux fur, is a Winter must have; it never seems to go out of style! Here are some of my favorite plaid coats I found.

These are the best work coats to buy this Winter. What coats will you be buying? Plaid? Wool? Maybe a plaid wool! I have my eye on a few different ones and cannot wait to refresh my wardrobe.
