Matching sets will never go out of style. I love wearing monochromatic looks but I also think there is something so chic about having a top and bottom match perfectly, not just within the same color family. My favorite matching set style for this fall is a skirt and a matching sweater. Sets are a great way to change up your workwear attire. They’re professional but offer something a little different than your typical black blazer and slacks. Here are 5 sets I am currently obsessed with.

Plaid on Plaid

I love this set from the Saks Fifth Avenue collection at Saks OFF 5TH. The set in total is under $100! You can’t beat that price. I think these pieces are great as a set or alone. Just over the weekend I wore the top with denim and white sneakers to run around the city with Matt and Sebastian. That is another thing I love about sets, you can wear them together or apart and have 3 separate outfits!

Monochromatic

Monochromatic sets are the easiest way to ease yourself into the set world. Because you can mix and match different hues of colors, you can go as bold, or as toned down, as you want.

Patterned Suit

If you’re feeling bold enough, I love a good patterned suit for the office. There are so many cute ones available right now for fall and winter. Velour, animal print or houndstooth, try one out!

Mixing Textures

I got so many questions on this outfit. Both pieces are from Mango and I think they look so chic together. The fuzziness of the sweater offsets the leather and the pop of white on the bottom I think brings the whole look together.

Midi skirts and boots are this season’s hottest trend. I have seen so many people all over NYC and Instagram wearing this combination. It is such a chic look and perfect for fall. Match a top to your skirt and you have an effortless yet chic workwear look.
