It has been a while since I last wrote about classic workwear pieces. I love wearing colorful outfits and taking risks with workwear but there is also something so easy about staple workwear pieces. Whenever I don’t feel like putting too much thought into what I’m wearing that day or I’m rushing to get out of the house, I always fall back on a classic blazer or staple skirt. These are some of my favorite yet elevated classic workwear staples that I’ll be wearing this fall.

Midi Skirts

I have said it before, I will say it again: I love midi skirts, especially for fall. Midi skirts are refreshing and a little more trendy than the classic pencil skirt. However, they are still office appropriate and not as restricting as pencil skirts. Mango has a ton of cute ones right now and they’re almost all under $80.00.

Tie Neck Tops

Tie neck tops are so stylish right now in workwear. I have been wearing so many tie neck blouses these past few months and I love the additional detail they give to traditional button downs. This one from Sezane is so chic, or try a more affordable option from Banana Republic here.

Subtle Patterned Blazers

Blazer’s will never go out of style. Luckily for us corporate ladies, blazers are this seasons trendiest jacket. There are so many chic blazers to choose from right now. Some have more structure and some have a subtle pattern that differentiates it just the right amount from other blazers. I love long line oversized blazers because they add a little more flair to my office attire.

These are the 3 classic workwear staples I will always have in my closet. They will always be in style as far as corporate fashion goes and they are so easy to throw together when I am in a rush. What workwear items will you always have in your closet?
