3 Trends to Try Out This Fall
Fall is officially on its way! With Labor Day behind us, I am finally ready for fall. The mornings in New York are starting to feel cooler and the humidity is slowly fading. I am ready to trade in my sleeveless tops and sandals for boots and sweaters that’s for sure! I have also had my eye on upcoming trends to watch out for this fall. Trends are a great way to change up your style and try something new. Here are my top 3 favorite trends to try out this fall!
Animal print is still going strong as we head into fall. You will continue to see leopard print, snake skin, and even giraffe print on anything and everything! I think snakeskin pieces are a cool but not too over the top way to work this trend into your office attire. This Saks Fifth Avenue skirt from Saks OFF 5TH is so chic! Pair it with a black blazer, turtleneck, and a cute pair of high boots and you’re ready for a perfect fall day.
Blazer | Bottoms | Top | Shoes
I love playing with color. I am always mixing and matching different colors to help elevate my work style. Jewel tones are so trendy for fall headed into winter. Turn it into a monochromatic look, and you’ll be ready for the season change.
Plaid on Plaid
Plaid is a timeless staple for fall. This fall you’ll be seeing plaid all over workwear pieces. I love wearing plaid blazers paired with a simple pant. There are also so many great plaid jackets that are great to throw on while headed to the office! This Saks Fifth Avenue jacket from Saks OFF 5TH is perfect for fall and winter!
Are you going to be trying out any of these trends this fall? They’re so easy to incorporate into your workwear wardrobe. Let me know in the comments if you do!
Plaid on plaid is my all time favourite power look combo! I feel so chic in it but also ready to take on my corporate office. H&M has some actually really cute plaid suits for the cheaper end of the budget (I’ve got to wait a few years before pulling out the $$ on more expensive suits!) ALSO, that leopard suit you’re rocking is AMAZING! I so wish I could wear that to my office. Maybe one day!
