1. PLEATED DRESS

The infamous green dress. It’s  beautifully made. The style and pleats give it a vintage look and feel. Since I’m petite, the dress can look overwhelming on my small frame if I don’t minimize my accessories. I paired it with the tallest heels in my closet to give me some height.

I was also happy to discover that  Zara now has a Mom Collection. They have some classic styles that can be worn throughout your pregnancy.

2. ANIMAL EMBOSSED HEELED LEATHER SANDALS

Size 6

LOVE these black strappy heels. For those wondering, “Are they comfortable?” The answer is no. They pinch a little on the front strap. Heels like this take some time to break in. But if you can get through the first two wears, these will be great to dress up your denim or a simple everyday trouser. You’ll see a lot of this type of heel when the weather warms up! True to size. I always wear a size 6 or 36 in open toe shoes…mainly because my foot tends to slide down the heel when I walk.

3. PACK OF FAUX PEARL HAIR CLIPS

With barrettes and pearls being a huge trend this season, these pearl clips were an easy pick for me to make. The quality is great, which isn’t always the case for these type of clips. However, they are slightly larger than expected. These are not petite accessories. Somewhere between medium and large. If you want to try out the trend, these are a great start for your accessory collection this season.

4. BELTED FROCK COAT

Size Small

This is 100% my style. Love the structured look with a belt. I’m 5’1′, so the length of this frock fit me perfectly. What is most appealing about his frock is that it can be belted and worn as a dress, or you can simply wear it as a coat. It’s a great, versatile piece for your wardrobe.

5. STRAPPY MID-HEEL LEATHER SANDALS

Another huge trend for the season are strappy sandals. You’ve probably already seen some of your favorite fashion icons wear this style of sandal. They are fairly comfortable and since they’re white, I’ve found that you can style them with several pieces in your closet — denim, skirts, dresses, and the list goes on. They also come in black, but sold out in most sizes. Grab them, they are already going fast! The fit is true to size.

6. PUFFY SLEEVED DRESS

This dress is part of Zara’s newest collection, Ice Cream. The sleeves grabbed my attention and so I wanted to try out the style. The dress is snug on my body. I typically don’t like these types of dresses, but I want a simple dress to throw on with sandals for spring.

7. HEELED LEATHER MULES

Size 6

My favorite purchase from the week. The fuchsia color is beautiful and even more beautiful in person. When I purchase mules or flat slides, I typically go up 1/2 a size, but these fit at my normal shoe size. If you struggle with walking in heels, these might not be the best option for you. There’s a science to keeping your shoe on and walking in heels…if you know what I mean. These look good with black, white and denim. Excited to throw in a bold punch of color for spring!

8. FAUX PEARL EARRINGS

One Size

I wore these earrings to the Chico’s event earlier this week. Since I was wearing a white button down, I wanted to dress up the look with a statement earring. You’ll see a lot of clustered earrings this season. These earrings are fairly heavy. If you don’t like heavy earrings, I’d pass on these ones and go for a simple pearl stud.

10. ORGANZA BLOUSE WITH TIE

This piece hasn’t been shown on Instagram Stories, but it’s gorgeous! The vibrant green looks great paired with denim or black trousers. As someone who’s always trying to carefully infuse color into my wardrobe, I really like the versatility of this shirt as it can be worn for several types of occasions. The one thing to note about this blouse is that it is sheer in the back, so you either have to wear with a cami underneath or with a backless bra. Since the blouse is a button up, I went up a size to a small. I’m typically an extra small in tops.

11. POLKA DOT WRAP DRESS

Wrap dresses are typically not my favorite but loved the print and satin finish to the dress. This is the “skirt” I was wearing last night on Instagram stories. I wore with a knit sweater. I’ll also wear it as a duster with black faux leather leggings and a bodysuit. Fits true to size. If you’re petite like me, you might have some issues with showing too much cleavage if worn alone. My torso is typically too short for wrap dresses, so I don’t own a ton of these dresses, but giving this one a try!
