My Fall and Winter Boot Guide
Boots are the footwear of choice this time of year. They’ll carry you well into the new year as we battle those chilly temperatures. I love the versatility of most boots. They can be dressed up or down. I can think of a number of pairs in my closet that look just as good with a dress as they do with a pair of jeans. Here’s my boot guide for the season featuring my must-have styles.
Booties
These shorter boots styles range from basic to fun little statements to finish off an outfit. So whether you’re looking for a classic go-to pair or something a little extra for the holidays this style gives you plenty to work with without being overwhelming.
Work Appropriate Boots
Need a break from pumps and ballet flats? Boots are a great alternative to traditional work footwear. I love the combination of boots with a midi skirt this time of year. Add a pair of tights if you’re looking for additional warmth. Boots also pair well with a great pair of trousers too.
Over the Knee
I love over the knee boots. For some this style can be intimidating, myself included. I was even a little nervous about the styling but in the end, I absolutely loved the look of them.
Winter Boots
Sometimes fashion is about function. When the peak of winter hits you want to be warm. I love that these styles do just that and some of them even include a bit of a heel. It’s really the best of both worlds. So stay warm and look good whether it’s here in the city or you’re getting away for a weekend.
I’ll be adding a few new styles to my collection over the next few weeks. What’s your favorite style of boots?
