Mother’s Day is just around the corner and many people find themselves scrambling to find that perfect last-minute gift. My gift giving style has changed a bit since becoming a mom myself. There are some years where I give something really sentimental, the kind of thing you can’t always buy. However, I do really enjoy giving items that will make the mothers in my life feel special and recognized. Things they can use often. I personally love when I put on a pair of earrings I received as a gift and I instantly think of the person that gave them to me. If you’re looking for a few ideas to create that same feeling here are a few below.

Gift 1

This vanity mirror by iHome is perfect for moms who need a little extra help getting ready in the morning or for an event. It’s full of a ton of great features. It’s stainless steel with a dual-sided distortion-free mirror with LED lighting. One side has 7x magnification for a closer look at what you’re doing. To make it even more useful it also has Bluetooth audio and a phone charger! This has become a tool in my everyday routine.

Gift 2

Jewelry is always a good idea for Mother’s Day. Judith Ripka has a large selection to accommodate numerous price points and they have a ton of styles to choose from. I love that their designs combine classic style with a bit of modern influence making them on trend for today and perfect for years to come. You can’t go wrong here.

Gift 3

Now, this suggestion might not work for everyone but the moms who do receive it will really appreciate it.  Every mother knows how important quality undergarments are and what a world of difference it makes. Soma is an industry leader in this arena. They also make great pajamas and swimwear too. Also, not a bad idea to pick something up for yourself too!

Gift 4

This one is a great option for the mom looking to take a little extra care of themselves. Let’s be honest though, what mom couldn’t use that? Saying this is good for a busy mom sounds redundant so I’ll just say any mom will appreciate how easy it is to incorporate into their existing schedule.

It’s no secret Bobbi Brown is one of my favorite cosmetic brands. I first talked about the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Rose in my March Beauty Favorites post. It acts as an enhancement to blush and gives a pretty rosy glow.  This compact works well for all skill levels. It’s flattering on most skin tones as well.

I would give these to everyone if I could. This L’Occitane Hand Cream seems like a simple gift but I promise it’s one they’ll be reaching for every day. It comes in a few different scents and all of them are amazing. This lotion leaves your hands feeling super soft with just the right amount of fragrance. It’s the perfect little luxury with high-quality ingredients.

I know we covered jewelry but Kendra Scott is just too good to leave out. Kendra Scott is known for their statement pieces like these beautiful lilac ones. They really elevate a look and are quality pieces not to mention there’s an amazing story behind the brand. They’re fun, unique, and will definitely make the mom in your life feel special.

Mother’s Day has become a really special day for me. I love being a mom to little Sebastian. That role has given me a deeper appreciation for my own mom and all of the other moms out there. So whether you go sentimental or practical route for a gift, the acknowledgment of what mother’s do every day means a lot.
