Today I’m excited to share with you a recent partnership with Carmex. It might seem kind of silly to be excited about something like this but it’s a product I’ve used for as long as I can remember. As a kid my mom would pull out this little tube anytime I was getting chapped lips. We’ve always used Carmex. It’s really exciting to be partnering with a brand I truly believe in and I’ve used since I was just a kid.

Carmex for the Winter

I wanted to share with you guys how we’ve been using Carmex this winter in New York City. We have interesting weather here. It’s all over the place. It gets hot. It gets cold. The winters are pretty brutal. The cold season is pretty tough for us. Matt, Sebastian, and I have been sick lately. Carmex has been a lifesaver for us. I don’t know if you guys remember but a few weeks ago Sebastian’s lips got pretty chapped. My mom suggested putting a little bit of Carmex on them. We did and it helped. Matt and I use these products all of the time. This time of year can also mean an increased chance of cold sores for those who suffer from outbreaks. So if you’re prone to them, make sure you pick up some Carmex Cold Sore Treatment to have on hand just in case.  These products are a winter must-have.

My Favorite

I’m a light packer and don’t like to have a ton of items in my purse so the items I do have with me need to multitask. One of my current favorites is their natural lip balm. I’ve been using it quite a bit. The one I use is called sugar plum. It smells amazing too. It instantly relieves that dry feeling and doesn’t feel heavy or caked on.

On the Go

We actually used this while we were out in Times Square with Sebastian. We’ve come a long way being out in winter exploring the city with him. He’s a huge fan of taking off the lid to the little tin of Carmex with those cute little hands of his. We’ve been showing him how to use it too.

Being on the go in the city can take some skill. A while back I shared tips for those traveling to the city with a baby. Since we do like to travel light these products are able to really multitask for us. Carmex is something we use as a family to help with chapped lips. Instead of having to carry multiple products for each of us, we can just grab one to share and be on our way.
