It’s that time of year where everyone in the city tends to go into hibernation mode. The holidays are over and it gets pretty cold here in New York. It’s also a great time for a warm getaway if you’re able to take a trip. Last year, we took our first family trip to Playa Del Carmen for a break from the cold. Sometimes you just need to stock up on some sunshine and vitamin D.

When I’m not reminiscing about warmer weather, I like to find ways to get out of the apartment to avoid cabin fever. There are a few places I love to go to New York City even when it’s freezing.

It can be tricky to stay warm and looking good. Here are 3 of my favorite looks for that cozy casual chic look with the help of INC International Concepts. It’s great to partner with them again after creating these holiday looks.

LOOK ONE

The first look features an edgy boho style faux suede jacket. The pink color, along with the bell style grommeted lace-up sleeves, give it a fun feminine touch. Layering is key for warmth especially as you transition between outdoor and indoor environments. These sock ankle booties are comfortable with a manageable heel and come in multiple colors.  The finishing touch to this look is a classic pair of skinny jeans. Look Two

This next look is a sweater and denim look with a twist. With a casual outfit, you can keep it interesting by choosing a piece with some unique details or accents. I decided to go with this shimmering clutch with a bow detail closure. These t-strap heels are a favorite and you’ll definitely see them styled with other outfits in the future.

Look Three

I’ve been incorporating pink more and more into my wardrobe like with this pink monochromatic look. This cowl-neck chenille sweater is a classic style. It’ll definitely keep you feeling cozy and warm. It’s available in petite. These boyfriend style jeans offer additional comfort with a bit of sparkle with the sequin patch detail. These sock ankle booties make another appearance in this outfit. They’re pretty versatile and be styled a number of ways. This rose gold box clutch is fun for daytime and a statement piece at night.
