Five Easy Looks for Your Holiday Work Party

This time of year is filled with family, friends, and lots of parties. I love getting dressed up and adding a bit of sparkle. However, there is one event in particular that can cause you to stress about what to wear.  Your holiday work party can be tricky to navigate and leave you feeling unsure of what to wear. You want to look your best and still look professional. Each work environment is a little different so I created five looks you can easily recreate with pieces in your closet. Whether you work in a more traditional setting or a casual office, these looks have you covered.

Easy & Stylish

You still look festive, but comfortable to be out with co-workers for 5+ hours. The red lace pants have pockets, which can be great when you’re socializing with others. I always seem to put my hands in my pockets when I’m conversing with a large group of people. The pockets are also the perfect place to put business cards if you happen to be networking. Jewelry is a great way to add an extra bit of sparkle and can really bring an outfit together. I love these jeweled earrings, but these black earrings would have also been a great option with this look.

Casual & Comfortable

Sparkling & Trendy

This look is the perfect combination of sparkle and comfort. It’s a great option for those that don’t want to get too dressed up for their holiday work party. Pairing a sequin skirt with a black knit creates a balance between practical and festive. Some of you might recognize this skirt from a recent video on Instagram. As you can tell, I love this skirt and there are so many fun ways to incorporate it into different looks. Did I mention it has a little stretch to it? Perfect for dancing.

Festive & Professional

Festive & Trendy

The anti-holiday look is for more casual office settings. If you love black and you’re not the biggest fan of dresses and all the festive colors, opt for a black lace top and black denim. The lace adds a delicate touch to soften the all-black look. Add a pair of black boots to complete the monochromatic look. These boots are perfect for the work week and the weekend. They’re so versatile. They also come in a great neutral color. I love wearing these earrings with this cute black lace blouse. (This black blouse is similar and 25% off!).

I had a lot of fun putting together these looks. I’d love to see you recreate them. Be sure to tag me in your looks on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. I can’t wait to see them!  Keep an eye out on my profiles for chances to enter my 12 Days of Christmas giveaways.
