What To Wear To Your Upcoming Holiday Party

If you have been following along here or over on Instagram, the holidays have been in full swing at our household. This is the time of year when I will step outside my typical looks. It’s just fun and nice to have a reason to try something new. Not that you should need a reason though I guess. The holidays bring out more bold colors than I’m use to wearing but you can still mix them in and stay true to your style.

This look, for instance, I typically don’t stack red on black but it’s the holidays and it’s clean and put together. Nice enough for the office but casual enough to be comfortable. It’s perfect for in office or out of office holiday parties. You can still stay on trend and add that little bit of spice with some color and perhaps a sparkle or two! Don’t be shy. If you like the look of something, go for it!

With all the festive pieces to sort through this time of year, I love sticking to my style and classic pieces like this faux leather skirt. Paired with the red top, it kind of just screams Christmas. The sparkle in this outfit comes from the heels. How cute are they? I love these and they are Matt’s current favorite of mine. Like all of SJP’s heels, they are classic and absolutely stunning. Faux Leather Skirts
