A Few Designer Staple Pieces

With the age of social media and constant 24/7 access to all things fashion, you may get a feeling like you have to have all the latest and greatest in designer items. It’s simply not true and oftentimes unrealistic solely based on price. Something I have always enjoyed is having a few designer pieces in my wardrobe. They were pieces I saved for in order to get and I knew I would be able to wear them a lot.

That has been my approach when it comes to shopping designer. Every so often I will pick out a few designer pieces to add to the seasonal wardrobe. The great part about this is that we don’t have to pay top dollar either. If you are in the market for new designer stuff but like me, aren’t able to shop designer everyday, check out The Outnet. My entire look is from their site. It’s brilliant!

ps. This location is the BEST to shoot blog photos! Go to Bethesda Terrace. It’s located in the heart of Central Park. We get there by entering at 72nd and 5th Avenue. Perfect spot to shoot during the winter, especially on windy days in NYC.

  1. I totally agree that it is worth it to invest in a couple of designer pieces instead of buying every single trend. I love your outfit by the way!

Darling being a lover of designer clothing, I always recommend designer pieces for the staple and signature pieces in your wardrobe, and supplement with on trendy pieces from the mass market!

That black dress looks really gorgeous on you dear. And yes, it’s always a good idea to invest in a few really good pieces and mix and match them with other stuff in your closet.
