Trying something new this week. I get lots of questions about things on IG Stories, so I am going to start posting a recap of everything that happened during the week on Stories. Hope you guys like it. Be sure and let me know what you want to see more of or even less of something. Thanks everyone!
I had just gotten back from Mexico Sunday night. Good to be home. We started the week off down at Laduree. If you are in NYC, you have come down to the one in Soho. It’s gorgeous and the french toast tastes like a raspberry filled doughnut!
Afterwards, we swung by Monica Vinader for a quick visit. Love my pave ring from her collection (wore it here). Later in the day we headed to Sebastian’s music class. He is starting to really like going and has made a little friend, Chloe. They’re so cute. When we got home we had a box waiting for us from Hoppi Box. They offer development toys on a quarterly basis for children. Love this idea! After all the excitement from music class and his new toys, Sebastian took is first step! Little guy is growing so fast.
After nearly 12 hrs of sleep, Sebastian woke-up. We have been doing sleep training with him and it’s been going great. I have been meaning to do a blog post on it so stay tuned for that. His crib is from Nursery Works. It’s awesome!
We then headed to SoHo to shoot a few looks, while in the area I swung by Club Monaco and picked up these new denim. Next we headed over to J. Crew, where I picked up my new black turtleneck. Also, my grey high-waisted pants are from H&M. They have cute detail and make a great addition to my workwear closet and there just under $35!
When we got home, I opened a few boxes and received my new bodysuit from Intermix. It has a super pretty back to it. Flash Sale going on now. It’s currently 40% off. I also picked up these Joie boots that I’ll be wearing a lot this fall.
Next, I wanted to share this absolutely stunning pink bag from Senreve. The blush pink is so pretty and works great over luggage.
Last week, I asked you all what you wanted to see more of on the blog, so I decided to re-launch Corporate Catwalk on Instagram! Going to be sharing one workwear look per day on this account. Can’t wait to share what’s next for Corporate Catwalk, we have some fun things we’re working on for this brand!
For everyone asking about my hair color, I go to @patrickkyle over at Nexxus in Tribeca. He’s the best. For more on my hair and typical routine, check out this blog post. A lot of you have asked me about my necklace. It’s BaubleBar and I love it!
I’m getting Sebastian into the whole product scene. I love his shaggy blonde hair, but he needed a little product to get those curls under control. I used a little Kerastase Mousse Curl Ideal on his hair to tame those curls for the day. This was the first time using product in his hair, I’m on the lookout for baby/kid friendly mousse. If you have any recommendations, please leave me a comment below!
Bloomingdales is having their Friends & Family Sale right now. Be sure and use FRIENDS at checkout for 25% off. These red booties are amazing and while I was at Bloomingdales on Saturday, I picked up these Dolce Vita sock booties. HIGHLY recommend, especially since they’re under $100.
Here is my Shawl and Furla bag. Spent a great evening at Shiloh Farms with Seed Phytonutrients, a new brand under L’oreal. They are all about the health, well-being and sustainability of current and future generations of seeds. The food they prepared was delicious and Sebastian got to play with the farm animals. We had some great company with some of my favorite NYC bloggers (@colormecourtney @howdoyouwearthat @noelledowning). Just a super fun night out with the family and influencers from all over the US!
We had a busy workday on Friday. Somehow woke up super early to shoot, spotted by a few of my lovely readers. You ladies are hilarious. I hope you come say hi next time you see me. We recorded another YouTube video and then I took Sebastian to music class.
Another gorgeous day in the city! Love the weekends here. I picked up these leopard booties, suede booties and velvet booties. I know a few of you were skeptical on the leopard booties, but they’re amazing! Also, a blog post on fall boots is headed your way. 80% of you wanted to see this post, so this is up next. Do you like these polls on Instagram?
After editing the Instagram stories, kind of made me want to start vlogging. Are you guys into vlogs? Thoughts? Let me know in the comment section or YouTube video comments.
Love you guys and thank you so much for all your support!!
