Today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite beauty products right now. Hopefully you’ll find them useful if you’re on the hunt to add to few new products to your routine.

My Current Favorites

Erno LaszloHydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Treatment Masks

Erno Laszlo recently launched a new two-step hydrating treatment mask. They offer three different ones depending on your skin concern — brighten, hydrate and firm. All you have to do is pour the powder and liquid mixture into a bowl and apply to your face for 10-20 minutes.

Everyone might not be familiar with Erno Laszlo. I only just discovered them six months ago after visiting their New York City Salon. They’re a high-end beauty brand, that offer some of the best skincare products I’ve ever used.  The face masks are my absolute favorite, more specifically this new two-step mask has them ranked as my #1 face mask to date.

slip for beauty sleep ‘Slipsilk‘ Pure Silk Pillowcase

You might have heard me speak about the slip pillowcase before. It’s one of those products you say.. “Does this really work?”. Well, after using it for over 6 months, I can say it works. This is especially true if you have dry or curly hair. My hair has the tendency to get easily tangled  while I’m sleeping. After switching out my pillowcase, I no longer have this problem.

The same holds true for my skin. My face feels less dry when I wake up in the morning. There’s also no large creases in my skin from the pillowcase, which is always a positive!

Kopari Coconut Rose Toner

The Kopari Rose Toner is a product that I’ve been carrying in my purse. With the warmer weather in the city, my makeup can sometimes feel dry and stiff on my face. This rose toner is a great way to freshen up your face throughout the day. I also use a toner after washing my face. Since this toner is often in my bag, I’m using this toner to keep my skin balanced.

If you ever wonder.. “Why should I use a toner?” From my experience, it truly does help balance the oils and dryness for my skin. It also keeps any blotching to a bare minimum and leaves my skin feeling calm and soothing. I know that sounds like a Sephora ad, but this is what I’ve experienced with several toners. I’ve used everything from pure witch hazel to fancy toner. At this point, I’ll use any of them, as long as they smell good and are easy to apply. I do prefer a spray toner over the liquid + cotton ball method.

More From Kopari

Glossier Moisturizing Moon Mask

When I first applied the Moon Mask, I noticed it was a similar texture as moisturizer. Lightweight and soothing when applied to skin. Wasn’t expecting for my skin to feel such a punch of moisture after taking off the mask. Be sure to apply well to your face. The mistake I made when applying this mask, I didn’t use enough. They recommend to apply a thick layer on skin, wait for 20 minutes and rinse off.

Although this mask is lightweight and great for all skin types, I’d highly recommend for someone with sensitive skin. It can be  be difficult to find products that don’t leave your face irritated (if you have sensitive skin).

More From Glossier

Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator ‑ Diamond Dust

Face highlighters are new to my beauty routine. I’ve used highlighters in the past, but I basically made my entire face glow, in a really bad way. For the most part, it was something I only really used on special occasions. Then I was introduced to Diamond Dust by Laura Geller and knew it was something I needed in my daily makeup routine. Using a small fan brush, I apply a small amount on the highest points of my cheeks, tip of nose and cupid’s bow. Since I haven’t used BECCA highlighter (the most popular highlighter on the market), I will say this is my current favorite. For now.

Mustela Baby Body Oil

Last but not least, my favorite beauty product for the baby! We love Mustela products. They have specific products for your baby’s skin type. Although we’ve been using their products since Sebastian was born, we just started using the body oil. It’s been a great way to sooth Sebastian after a nice long bath. The oil is lightweight and doesn’t get all over the place. It dries the same as lotion, leaving the baby’s skin moisturized and fresh! We love it for baby Sebastian!

Love your review on the rose toner! Right now I use a lavender-scented toner with the cotton ball method, but like you said, it’s not ideal. I might give this spray option a try! I feel like I’d prefer the spray as well. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I’m always glad to see your thoughts on and reviews of products for your hair! I have curly hair and have struggled since I was little to tame the frizz and, at times, unruly curls. I have gone through countless hair products over the years but have never tried, or even thought to try, a silk pillowcase. Your experience makes me want to add it to my curly-girl repertoire!

Thanks again for helpful hints for us curly girls!

I personally love beauty reviews, I can’t get enough of them. Especially when there are items that are not overly hyped and talked about on every single blog. I’ve been wanting to try the slip pillowcases, but I think my hubby would think I was crazy for spending that type of money on a pillowcase.
