It’s quite incredible how much extra stuff you have to think about when you have a child. It’s amazing and taxing at the same time. Fortunately, Sebastian is quite calm and unless he is hungry, he is a pretty happy camper. Speaking of hunger, he actually became quite picky when it came to feeding from a bottle. He wouldn’t just accept whatever bottle you have. Oh no, Sebastian wanted something different.

We went through a number of different bottles and brands before we tried Tommee Tippee. They have been such a relief and one of the items that we never leave home without. Sebastian is a big fan! Happy baby is a happy mama! It’s funny because this is one of those things you don’t think about even when you’re pregnant. “What kind of baby bottle will Sebastian like?” That question never entered my brain but it’s kind of a big decision. The Tommee Tippee bottles are great for a number of reasons (highlighted below) but most importantly because they make Sebastian calm and happy.

Perfect Shape

For Sebastian, the Closer to Nature nipples are shaped like a breast and easy for him to latch on and transition from breast to bottle. Nipples available in slow, medium, fast and vari-flow. We’re currently transitioning Sebastian to Medium.

They’re also the perfect size for him to hold it up himself. It’s been so cool to watch him learn and pick-up things. Truly incredible how fast babies adapt and learn. Incredible! Whenever I’m feeding him a bottle, he is constantly trying to grab the bottle from me to feed himself. Such a cutie!

No Leaks

One of the biggest issues we had with the other bottles is that they leaked all the time. Not sure why but it got to be really annoying. That’s why we were relieved to have found Tommee Tippee and their Closer to Nature bottle. It’s simple, well-made, easy for Sebastian to hold onto and he falls into complete relaxation as soon as we give him his bottle. Works like a charm!

Durable and Residue Free

The Tommee Tippee bottles are some of the most durable bottles we’ve tried. They stand up to heat and falling on the floor. The other thing I love about these bottles is that they don’t leave residue inside the bottle after cleaning. We have other bottles and there’s residue left over from the formula. With the Tommee Tippee bottles, after washing with soap and water, there’s no formula and milk left over. Giving your baby a fresh start to the next feeding! All the bottles are BPA and phthalate free for ultimate reassurance for your family.

Easy to Clean

These bottles are easy to take apart and put back together. Unlike most baby bottles that have so many parts to them, Tommee Tippee is just three pieces. That’s it! Not only are they parent proof, but they’re also incredibly easy to clean. Bottles are one of the most frequently use items for Sebastian, so it’s important to be able to clean, dry and get ready for our next adventure.

Grows with you and your baby

The Tommee Tippee collection has so many bottles to grow with you and your baby. We’ve been using Closer to Nature and Ultra, but excited to start using other bottles as Sebastian starts to introduce solids into his diet. Once we introduced formula, we were able to use the formula dispenser to store his formula for easy preparation.

Besides their bottles, they also have an amazing Pump and Go system. If you’re like me and always on the go, this portable and convenient system will change your life! You pump into the bag, pop that onto the holder and you have your bottle. No spilling, dripping, nothing. Take it and go! Oh, and it even has an adapter for your breast pump!
