3 ways to Style a Scarf this Season

With summer upon us, most of us are looking for any excuse to wear a t-shirt and jeans. By adding a colorful scarf to your look is an easy way accessorize your outfit with minimal effort. The scarf in today’s post is from Lord & Taylor by Karl Lagerfeld and there are so many ways to style this type of scarf for the season. The larger square scarves have multiple ways to fold, tie and wrap – making them my favorite to add to my wardrobe. Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters are two of my favorite places to buy scarves and bandanas. Here are three ways to wear your favorite accessory this season!

Neck Scarf

The neck scarf has been around a few years, but I think you’ll see even more of this trend. It’s easy to wear it with a v-neck t-shirt or cami.

To make the scarf look skinny and chic around your neck, I fold the scarf in half, roll it and then tie it around my neck. I also like this look with a white button down – especially for work!

Bag Accessory

One of the easiest way to incorporate a scarf into your spring look this year is by tying it to your your bag. It’s also a great way to make your bag look updated and refreshed. I have several bags that I’m using from last year and by adding a little accessory gives the bag a new element.

Headband

In the summer when the weather is warming up, wearing your scarf as a headband is a great way to keep your hair out of your face and still looking chic.
