Recreating Old Memories with Mom This Season
Anytime I see jewelry that sparkles, it reminds me of my mother. One of our favorite things to do together when I was growing up was go to the mall and shop. Most times, we would just go to the jewelry stores and look at all the gorgeous jewelry. My Mom would let me try on a few pieces and she would do the same, so we matched. It was so much fun. Jewelry has just always been something we have shared together. I would be in her room with her as she was getting ready to go out for the night. She would give me a spritz of her perfume and let me try on her necklaces and bracelets. I would always choose the sparkly jewelry that shined back at me in the mirror. So many fun memories.
This season I had a chance to check-out and try some of pieces from the Swarovski holiday collection at Macy’s. The sophisticated design and shimmering tones are fantastic. That’s what you come to expect with Swarovski, a touch of glamour that is within all of our reach. The crystaldust drop bracelet is quite captivating with it’s mixed metal detail and pairs perfectly with the open cuff bracelet. Both are effortlessly cool and perfect statement pieces this holiday season. I don’t typically wear anything other than my diamond studs in my ears but I absolutely love the pave star jackets earrings. So give brilliant this season, and find the perfect person to spoil with some amazing jewelry. My mom is going to love the drop bracelet!
