In collaboration with Tanger Outlets and In Style, I participated in the #tangeroutlet shopping challenge. Publications including People Magazine, InStyle, StyleWatch, Southern Living and Real Simple, put together five teams of fashion bloggers to participate in a shopping challenge. At the Tanger Outlets, our goal was to put together the best outfit with $250 that fits each of our aesthetic.

I was part of the InStyle team and our focus of the challenge was to recreate a look that was inspirational, celebrity inspired and fun. For those of you not familiar with the Tanger Outlet Mall, it’s in Deer Park, NY. That’s about 40+ miles outside the city. Before heading out of NYC, the day started out at the Time Inc. Headquarters at the Brookfield mall down by World Trade Center. We loaded a charter bus and headed out to the venue! As part of the challenge, we had the opportunity to bring along a +1 to help us along the way. One of my best girlfriends in the city, Fallon, Editor of Sage & Sparkle, joined me for the day. It’s so much fun having a shopping buddy and getting to play catch on the latest news in each other’s lives.

Check out my final look here. The winner from the challenge is gifted a $2,500 shopping spree at the Tanger Outlet Malls for the holiday. Fingers crossed! The Tanger Outlets have everything from Banana Republic Factory to Saks OFF 5th. There are so many great stores to do your holiday shopping and the good news is that they have over forty location throughout the United States and Canada!
