This Week in Beauty | Fall Favorites

This week I’m sharing some of my favorite beauty products for fall! As a follow-up, I will be sharing another video on YouTube for my This Week in Beauty series next week. As much as I love writing about my experience with each of these products, I’m better able to express my thoughts on the products by talking through them with you and sharing my stories on video. Till then, feel free to head over to my Instagram and ask me questions about the products. I’d love to create a short video about any of these beauty favorites.

I also wanted to thank everyone who participated in the Caudalíe giveaway. Congratulations to Alexandra Mita on winning the giveaway! Can’t wait to hear about her experience with their skincare line. I’m positive she’s going to love it! They have an amazing lineup for holiday gift sets! Hint, Hint, if anyone is reading this post that might get me something for the holidays, please pickup this hand cream trio. I always need hand lotion in my purse! Hehe.

Farmaesthetics Toner

I’ve been using toners for years. Toners help restore your skin’s natural pH balance and overall skin tone. My routine started out by using Murad Hydrating Toner in a spray bottle. This made using a toner easy to do, especially after a shower. I spritz my face and lightly pat the remaining toner all over. As for the Farmaesthetics toner, it consists of five ingredients and has a lightweight rose smell. It’s only been a little over a week but, I’m in love with this new addition to my skin routine.

Dr. Dennis Gross Peel

Whenever I’m experiencing a skin meltdown, I stock up on these peels. This is especially true when my skin is dull and needs a refresh. There is a two step process to this and should be done in the AM & PM. Fortunately, my skin can withstand peels and other chemicals. I know this isn’t true for everyone, so I’d highly recommend using the ultra gentle daily peel if your skin is more sensitive. Be sure to buy from Sephora, if you have a reaction to the product, you can return it for something else that’s more fitting to your skin. Yay for quality customer service!

IT Cosmetic Makeup Remover

This is currently my favorite makeup remover, especially for eye makeup. As you may know, I recently started wearing false lashes. My lash extensions were getting a little too costly to continue my session, so this makeup remover is wonderful for removing any excess glue or other residue from my face. If you’ve used coconut oil, it’s of a similar texture and has a light scent. For someone who is prone to ultra dry skin, my face feels incredibly hydrated after application. A++ for this product!

IT Cosmetic Tightline Mascara

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me share my love for this tiny tube of mascara. I LOVE using this mascara for my bottom lashes and removing any clumps from the top ones. The mascara wand ensures that each of your bottom lashes are fully coated to create a beautiful and full lashline! I’ve also noticed that it lasts for a long time. I’ve had this little tube for over a month and it’s not showing any signs of drying out!

Seche Vita Top Coat

This is an oldie but goodie. My last This Week in Beauty post, I shared my signature at-home manicure. All my manicures end with the Seche Vita top coat and I never get a manicure without this top coat! It’s a lifesaver. The scent of this top coat is stronger than most, but not overbearing. It seals in the color with a thick, strong layer of protectant. It can tend to dry out quickly, so I’d recommend getting the thinner to make it last a little longer.

Gardenia + Tea Body Serum

This is one of my favorite products at the moment, probably because I’m pregnant. The body serum is so refreshing to apply to your damp skin after a warm shower. I truly look forward to applying it everyday! As someone who doesn’t use body spray, I love the lightweight scent and the moisture it puts back into my skin. To keep my routine, I hang it up in the shower by the spray nozzle and immediately apply after drying off from the shower. This makes an excellent gift for any beauty enthusiast!

NudeStix Shadow Pencils

This set of shadow pencils are the perfect set for the fall season. The set includes three colors; Taupe, Twilight and Lilith. The classic set makes it easy to use for your everyday colors. The Lilith pencil can be used to highlight above the upper lid of the eye or inner eye. The set also comes in a cute tin that includes a mirror to apply all your makeup and also includes a sharper. What I love most is that the shadow doesn’t smear!! Just let it set for a minute and you are good to go. No need to worry. Thanks NudeStix, you get us!

Morphe 35N Palette

This is my first time using Morphe products and I’m SOLD. This palette is worth every penny and then some. It comes with a variety of colors from the perfect base beige to beautiful purples and orange hues. The pigmentation of these shadows are wonderful and they last all day (without eye shadow primer). If you want to start creating a new eye shadow look, try out the Morphe set. They have a variety of sets, I personally love this palette for the holidays and this palette for everyday use. Their brush sets are also incredibly affordable and durable! Can you believe the price tag on these palettes…yea, me either!

Tarte Contouring Pencil

A few weeks ago, I shared on Instagram how I contour my face using the Artis brush and the Tarte pencil. These two make the perfect match. I went a few months without using the Tarte contouring pencil because I didn’t know exactly how to blend it into my skin. I stuck with the other brushes I had available because I was used to them. Big mistake. They simply weren’t good at blending out high pigmented color to make it look more natural. The Artis brush solved this for me. It helped blend the darker color into my foundation, giving me a more contoured look. No more dark shadows! The pencil has also lasted for almost a year, so you get a lot of bang for your buck.

Hope you enjoyed the product reviews! Excited to share the next set of my beauty favorites with you all. Reminder..This Week in Beauty series video coming next week! Stay tuned.

xo, Olivia
