One of our favorite sites in all of New York City is the Brooklyn Bridge. It is just so cool. Whether we are over in Dumbo, riding the East River Ferry or down in Lower Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge is simply stunning. I don’t know what it is about bridges but we love them. Our favorite scenic spot in San Francisco was the Golden Gate Bridge and we both adore the Albert Bridge in London too. A helicopter ride over NYC is still on the bucket list so we can see not only the bridge but the entire city from above. Can’t wait! As all of you fellow New Yorkers know, the best time to get the bridge to yourself is super early. Just as beautiful as the sunset is here, the sunrise is epic! Particularly when you happen to find yourself on a certain bridge that connects Manhattan and Brooklyn.

On this morning, it was seriously chilly out. My hands were freezing. It had that winteresque smell in the air and that slight chill that makes you re-think your decision to wake up so early. Each season, as it gets colder, I try and get a few new pieces to fill out my wardrobe for the colder months. Layering is so much fun!! The black dress is from H&M and fits me perfectly even though I am seven months pregnant. Only a couple months to go. The coat is from Club Monaco and I absolutely love it! It is so warm and just a perfect coat to have for winter. My heels are part of Schutz’ new collection, I also wore a few other pairs from the new collection in this photo (shop here) and this photo (shop here).
