How to Dress for Work When You Are Pregnant
The humidity this summer has really thrown my hair for a loop (#curlyhairproblems). Flat and frizzy is never good, so getting creative with my hair has been both a priority and a challenge. I’ve really come to like wearing my hair up and learning new ways to style it has been fun. This is particularly true in today’s look with the dress and blazer. Since the dress, blazer, necklace combo was a lot, wearing my hair up was a great way show off the details of the outfit without looking too busy. I wore a similar look here earlier this summer but wore my hair down.
Most of us can probably relate to this to some degree, but my work outfits have traditionally been littered with dark colors. While there is something to be said for a classic black suit or a chic black dress, it is really fun to work in the pinks, creams, and whites. You can still have the crisp, professional look and show off a little personality at the same time. Don’t get me wrong, I love my black pieces and still wear them regularly. However, I have learned that there are so many more options for us when we incorporate color. As we get into fall, we have a great opportunity to pull in colors through layering. Play around with the pieces you already have while mixing in new pieces from your favorite fall collections. I would love to hear what colors you are planning to incorporate into your looks this upcoming fall season!
Have a great Monday!!
