Bedroom Update |There’s a puppy in our bed
Sharing photos of our Bedroom today!! It has changed dramatically over the last year or so and we couldn’t be happier with how it is turning out. Just a few more things and it will be complete. We spend much of our weekend mornings lounging in bed with our cuddle bug. Watching Batman snuggle up with our little one come December will be so precious. We are so excited!! It is going to be an adjustment for the little guy to not have all the attention but he is such a good puppy, he is going to be a great big brother! With our growing family and Batman’s propensity for pushing Matt off the bed, we needed a new and bigger mattress. Sooo…
We got a Leesa mattress. They are an online exclusive mattress company that delivers your bed right to your door, and with free shipping! How amazing is that?! We have all gone out shopping for mattresses and having to get a truck and then having to get it up to your apartment. They made it so easy. Our King mattress came right out of the box and we rolled it out onto the bed, and watched it take shape (literally). Batman promptly examined and found his rightful spot on the mattress. It is so soft and comfy! As you can see, Batman is a huge fan! Shhh…he likes to sleep. Leesa also donates one mattress for every 10 mattresses purchased, which is a great way to give back to the community!
Batman loves to hide from us in the sheets. With all the extra sleeping space, we will see if Batman lets our little kitty sleep up on the bed…not holding my breath though. Now that we have a bigger bed and mattress, we were in need of all new linens and throw pillows. We decided on the cut circle sheets in pewter from Serena & Lily. I love the patterns and so happy with the look and quality, especially with the herringbone pillows. Our styles match well together! Serena and Lily is a home and lifestyle brand that has everything from accents to linens to furniture. They are based out of Sausalito, CA. Our old neck of the woods (really miss the weather out there right about now!) For all of us here in NYC, they have a retail store out in the Hamptons and are having a big Summer Tent Sale this weekend.
